  • All orders are processed within seven (7) business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

    If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order of four (4) weeks or more, we will contact you via email or telephone.

    We ship by UPS and we charge a flat shipping rate. In some cases delivery can take three (3) to five (5) weeks.

    Due to UPS policy, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. If your delivery address is entered as a P.O. Box, we will attempt to contact you for an alternative address.

    We cannot reimburse shipping for orders shipped to the incorrect address. Please note that we ship to the exact address that you enter when placing your online order.

    If you have changed your mind regarding your order that has already been shipped, please do not refuse the package(s) as a return delivery charge will be deducted from your refund.

  • Our apologies, we are no longer accepting payment, billing and shipping outside the US at this time.

  • Tatsu-Ya will replace any defective/damaged merchandise and you will not be billed for the replacement merchandise or the freight associated with replacing the merchandise.

    If you are returning non-defective/non-damaged items, you will be charged a 30% restocking fee and will be responsible for all outbound & return freight charges. All returns must be received within 14 days from your original shipment arriving in order to be eligible for a refund.

  • Since many items we sell are fragile, we package our items very carefully and securely. Therefore, damage resulting from shipping is very rare. You must notify Tatsu-Ya within 48 hours after you've received your shipment to receive credit/replacement goods for items that are damaged in transit. Otherwise, we cannot accept your damage claim. We require detailed photographs or the return of damaged product to our warehouse in order to process returns. Once we've received either photographs or the goods back into our warehouse, we will replace your shipment.

  • Before shipping, we perform a 100% quality inspection on all items that we sell. Therefore, we do everything possible to make sure that no defective items ever leave our warehouse. All ceramic mugs and glassware that we sell are unique, being somewhat different from another item of the same type in terms of stain, glaze and general appearance. An item that appears somewhat different than what is shown on our website is normal. All items here are artistic; they are each individually unique and in no way can any ceramic mug or glassware piece be exactly identical to the same item even if it is from the same production run. That is what makes our items cool and collectible! If for any reason you deem any of our items defective, please notify us within 48 hours after having received the item(s), and we will immediately correct the situation by either sending you a replacement shipment (after receiving the item(s) back into our warehouse) or by crediting your order (after receiving the items(s) back into our warehouse). No returns are allowed unless we are notified within 48-hours of your receipt of the item(s).

  • Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to www.tatsu-ya.com, and Tatsu-Ya governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Tatsu-Ya include www.tatsu-ya.com and Tatsu-Ya. The Tatsu-Ya website is an ecommerce site. By using the Tatsu-Ya website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

    Collection of your Personal Information

    In order to better provide you with products and services offered, Tatsu-Ya may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

    If you purchase Tatsu-Ya's products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

    Tatsu-Ya does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.

    From time to time, Tatsu-Ya may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.
